Hike date: July 26, 2026

Mts Amari and Sentoboshi are located on the northern fringes of the South Alps. The trailhead is accessed from Nirasaki in Yamanashi prefecture up a steep and winding 12-km forest road. There were limited views due to the cloudy conditions but I was able to make it to these two Yamanashi hyakumeizan with little difficulty, in addition to a side trip to Mt Gosho on a little used trail along the ridge line.
